Okay, Summer is winding down, though it is still 93 degrees in New York City, so it's time to enjoy a last few rounds of beautiful summer cocktails. If you've had your fill on the sweet and syrupy Pimm's Cups, try an Aperol 86' or an Aperol spritzer.
Yes, you could substitute with Campari, but it just won't be the same.
Aperol 86'
- 2 cl. Aperol
2 cl. Cointreau
2 cl. Dry Vermouth
garnish with a slice of lemon
Aperol Spritzer (by Dandy and Wit)
- 2 oz Aperol Liqueur
2 oz Soda Water
2 oz white wine
1 oz Fresh lime Juice
Plenty of ice
garnish with a slice of orange
(feel free to substitute Vinho Verde or Perseco for white wine)
