Helvetica - a documentary film
Gary Hustwit's new documentary "Helvetica" is a thoughtful, well paced exploration of the history and contemporary impact and relevance of the typeface Helvetica.
Luke Geissbuhler's beautiful cinematography captures the ubiquity of the typeface throughout the world, while interviews with leading type and graphic designers reveal it's social, political and psychological impact on our everyday lives.
The film is a co-production between Swiss Dots and Veer.
